The Tata Punch EV has been sighted testing yet again, this time with a few design tweaks. Both the exteriors and interiors of the electric micro SUV can be seen, offering additional details about it.

Tata Punch EV: Design and Battery

The Tata Punch EV receives a reprofiled LED DRL up front, which is likely to be the full-width version seen on the Curvv. The headlight units underneath it appear to have shifted somewhat upwards as well. It also included mirrors from the 2023 Harrier as well as a housing for the 360-degree camera system.

According to the spy images, the alloy wheels on the Punch EV will be different from those on the ICE-powered Punch. The new electric Punch test mules will have a five-spoke design, whereas prior ones had the same design as the ICE punch. The new test vehicle has also been seen with rear disc brakes.

The Tata Punch EV's specifications are yet to be revealed. The Punch EV, like most Tata EVs, is expected to come in Standard and Long Range variants. We speculate the 26kWh from the Tigor EV to be offered in the Standard variant while the Long Range model to come the Nexon EVs 30.2kWh battery.

Tata Pucnh EV: Interiors

A look inside reveals that the Punch would get a redesigned two-spoke steering wheel. The redesigned steering wheel design debuted with the Curvv SUV Concept last year and is expected to be utilized in all future Tata vehicles. Aside from the Punch, spy shots of the Nexon revealed a similar two-spoke steering wheel design.

The infotainment system section has been obscured, leading us to believe that it is the current 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The Punch EV would also have the Nexon EV Max's rotary gear selector with a display, an automatic parking brake, adjustable regenerative braking, a wireless phone charger, and a sunroof.

The Tata Punch EV is likely to cost between Rs 12 lakh and Rs 16 lakh.
